email Randy

Randy established the firm of Architecture Northwest in December of 1992, and has over 30 years of experience in architecture and construction management. He has worked on a wide variety of projects over that time with quality experience on elementary, secondary and university level school projects, commercial and retail facilities and community centers, governmental projects, building restoration projects and custom residential projects.  His 30+ plus years of experience in the field of architecture brings considerable value to the success of the many projects taken on each year.  Randy has served on the Nampa Planning & Zoning Commission, the Nampa Airport Commission, the Nampa Design Review Commission and is currently serving in his third elected term as the President of the Nampa City Council.

email Matt

Matt was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho.  He has had a love of drawing and artistic expression in many forms since his childhood.  After graduating from high school, he worked in the construction industry, including over ten years as a construction manager.  Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in 2013, and his master’s degree in 2015 both from the University of Idaho.  Matt has been with Architecture Northwest since 2015 and is currently licensed to practice in the state of Idaho.  He loves the idea that through an iterative and collaborative process an architect can help clients express their interests, taste, and even their personalities through design.  When not at work Matt volunteers in his community and church and loves spending time with his wife Jalaine and their growing family.

Phil is Treasure Valley local and resides in Nampa, Idaho with his wife and children.  He has been with Architecture Northwest for 10 years and has grown in his ability to develop and coordinate construction design documents, as well as using his Graphic Arts Degree from Northwest Nazarene University on 3D presentation graphics and vision casting materials for our clients to use for fund-raising efforts.  Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids that keep him busy with many activities.

Julie was born and raised in Idaho. She earned her associate degree from Treasure Valley Community College and her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Oregon University.  Julie has been with Architecture Northwest for 13 years as the Office Manager.  Her accomplished receptionist and bookkeeping skills help to make sure that the office runs smoothly, and clients feel welcomed when they come through the front door. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family, serving in her church, coaching and playing volleyball and being in the beautiful outdoors.

email Laurie

Laurie has been the business manager for Architecture Northwest for over 30 years.  Her education at Victor Valley Community College before coming to Idaho led her to many years of service in the banking industry, which in the early years of the firm were so very beneficial.  Laurie not only helped establish our Treasure Valley based firm but was also inspirational in helping it expand to a multi-state practice.  She is a vital member of our team and continually helps to maintain the family atmosphere we enjoy here at Architecture Northwest.
